Public INTEGRAL TOO on V0332+53 in Outburst
===========================================
INTEGRAL performed a set of Target of Opportunity (TOO)
observations of the current outburst of the recurrent
(timescale ~10 years) transient pulsar V0332+53 (ATEL #381,
#372, #371, #349; see http://www.astronomerstelegram.org/ ):
TOO 1: January 6-10 for 100 ksec (ATEL #382)
TOO 2: January 19-24 for 100 ksec
TOO 3: February 9-10 for 150 ksec
TOO 4: February 15 for 15 ksec
INTEGRAL will continue to monitor the source for 15 ksec once
every revolution until February 24.
The luminosity of the source has decreased from ~600 mCrab
(20-60 keV) in the first TOO to about 200 mCrab in the third TOO
as expected from the decline of the outburst. The outburst is
expected to end within the next weeks. The preliminary analysis
of the spectrum confirms the presence of two extremely prominent
cyclotron lines at ~28 keV and ~50 keV, and also a third line at
~75 keV in the first TOO, as discovered by Coburn et al (2005)
in RXTE data (ATEL #381).
We remind (ATEL #382) that the near real time data of all four
(and future) TOO observations of V0332+53 are immediately public
and are made available as soon as possible at:

instructions to retrieve the data.
