An understanding of fundamental particles, the forces between them, and the origin of these forces, is fundamental to the field of particle physics. Recent theoretical and precision experimental developments at the interface between particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology have defined new fundamental questions relevant to all these fields. Future experiments at the CERN LHC, and in astro-particle physics, are expected to qualitatively extend our knowledge of fundamental forces. At the same time, new instrumental developments are increasingly relevant to both fields. This Workshop, organized by the Swiss Institute for Particle Physics (CHIPP), aims to review the most important theoretical and experimental issues at the interface between cosmology, particle physics and astrophyiscs and to help to provide a prospective of the most promising future experimental activities and their associated R&D needs in astro-particle physics over the next 10-15 years. The Workshop will be held at the INTEGRAL Science Data Centre (ISDC)) on May 2-3, 2005. The ISDC is located in Versoix (near Geneva). The first day, May 2, will be devoted to the discussion of modern problems of Astroparticle Physics and of how sucsessful are the existing experiments in approaching those problems. The second day, May 3, will mostly be concentrated around discussion of new projects and techniques and of possible swiss contribution to the experimental activities in the field of Astroparticle Physics. Please don't forget to mark in the Registation Form whether you will participate in the workshop dinner on May 2. ISDC is located close to Geneva and CERN (see photo above) and can be easily reach by car or by 15-minute ride by regional train from Geneva Main station (Cornavin).
